Tanary Cerros
Tanary Cerros is a bilingual (Spanish/English) registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#136829). She has a genuine interest in helping adults, families, and adolescents achieve personal growth, live well, and accomplish their full potential. In life, we experience many different challenges that impact our sense of well-being. With these challenges, one can feel overburdened, stressed, anxious, or depressed. Seeking mental health services in times of despair and distress can provide guidance and support. Her goal as a therapist is to foster personal self-growth, and self-efficacy, and create a safe environment that allows her clients to express themselves freely while learning to overcome various challenges in life.
She applies a holistic approach while referencing several theories to help individuals’ unique needs, cultures, and goals. Some of the theories she utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based, existential, and humanistic therapy.
As a mental health professional, she strives to create a warm, accepting, and comfortable environment for individuals and families to begin their healing journey and reach their full potential.
