Maria Villeda

Maria Villeda is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW97943) she enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. She offers both individual and family sessions in Spanish or English. Maria is passionate about working with people who may need support with depression, burn out, anxiety, body image, self-esteem, relationships with others, healing from trauma, POC identity, and LGBTQ+ identities. She has been working in the mental health field focusing on preventative and early interventions training to the community around mental health wellness, suicide, and domestic violence.

Maria utilizes an integrative approach, referencing several theories to meet each individual’s needs and goals such as: environmental systems theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness-based, culturally and gender affirming, trauma informed, and strength based.

She believes it is important to be present in sessions as her authentic self and she will help create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to begin your journey to step into your true greatness. Maria looks forward to working with you to achieve your goals!
